School and Nursery Forest School Sessions

I have worked with a number of different nurseries and primary schools across South East London to provide regular Forest School sessions specifically tailored to a group's interests and needs.

Activities may include, but are not limited to, nature based crafting, camp-fire cooking, tool use, bug hunting and den building.

To ensure that a group fully benefits from Forest School, it is recommended that they participate in at least six sessions. However, it is even more advantageous if they continue their exploration throughout the year, allowing them to witness the changing seasons and appreciate the unique experiences that each one offers.

What can I offer?

  • Weekly or fortnightly sessions of child-led exploration and nature based play designed around the individual needs of the children

  • Help finding a suitable local site. Alternatively, depending on the type and size of space you have available, we may be able to use your own outdoor area

  • Free initial staff training session to ensure the whole team are onboard with the Forest School ethos and how they can best support the children

  • An experienced, fully qualified leader:

- I have completed the Level 3 Certificate for Forest School Leaders

- Hold a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Up-to-date DBS check

- Public Liability Insurance

- ITC Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid and Forest School First Aid
